FERA

Terms of Use

Effective September 22, 2026 · Fera, LLC (“FERA”, “we”, “us”)

These terms apply when you use the FERA app. The Apple Standard License Agreement also applies. If the two conflict, Apple’s agreement governs your license to the app. By using FERA, you agree to these terms.

FERA is not medical advice

FERA provides general nutrition and supplement education based on published research. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, it is not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for advice from your doctor, dietitian or pharmacist. Statements about supplements have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something in FERA. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Talk to a clinician first if you:

If tracking is hard for you

Detailed food logging isn’t right for everyone. For some people it can drive restriction, guilt or anxiety. If that’s your experience, please talk to a professional, and stop using FERA if tracking is making things worse. In the US, the National Alliance for Eating Disorders helpline is 1-866-662-1235.

Targets and content

Protein, calorie and micronutrient targets are estimates calculated from population research and your answers. They are starting points, not prescriptions. We work to keep content accurate and cite our sources, but research changes and we can’t guarantee that every item is complete or current. Individual results vary.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FERA. If you are under 18, please use FERA with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Brands, links and partner discounts

FERA suggests third-party-tested supplement brands and may show partner discounts. Some links are affiliate links, and FERA may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Rankings are based on formulation quality and independent testing, and brands cannot pay for a higher ranking. Products are sold by the retailer, not by FERA. Their terms, prices, availability and discounts are set by them and may change. FERA is not responsible for third-party products, websites or purchases.

Using FERA

You may use FERA for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app or its content. FERA, its design and its content belong to Fera, LLC and are protected by law. References to researchers and brands do not imply their affiliation with or endorsement of FERA.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

FERA is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for your own health decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fera, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its content, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for FERA Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as FERA changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use FERA after an update means you accept the updated terms.
